Cultivation on hydro system

CANNA AQUA is a specially developed product line for growing fast-growing plants on recirculating hydro-culture systems. For example, Nutrient Flow Technique (NFT) or ebb and flow systems on inert media such as rock wool or clay granules. With these systems the drainage water does not flow away but is used again.

If you work with a hydro culture system, you grow without a medium or on an inert medium. The substrate holds the roots without affecting the water and nutrient yield. Your plant depends, as it were, on the infusion, the roots are in direct contact with the nutrient water. This allows you to control the nutrition during cultivation in detail. Commonly used inert media for a hydroculture system are rock wool, mapito and clay pellets.

In a recirculating hydroculture system, the feed water flows in a closed circuit: from the feed vessel, along the roots, back to the feed vessel. Because the plant does not absorb all the nutrients at the same time, the composition of the nutrient water changes. CANNA AQUA is specially developed so that your plant regulates the pH itself and thus always gets the right combination of nutrients
